Female
Male
Research shows that the structure of language shapes the way we think. When a language partitions nouns into masculine or feminine, it's called 'grammatical gender'. By learning this language from a young age on, your brain is trained to think of which nouns are feminine and which are masculine. Because of this you start to think about other aspects of society in the same way. In countries with a gendered native language, there is a larger gender gap.
